Retired U.S. Magistrate Judges Honored in Connecticut

Four retired magistrate judges, who collectively served the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut more than 100 years, were celebrated in a ceremony unveiling their portraits.
Retired Magistrate Judges Arthur H. Latimer, F. Owen Eagan, Thomas P. Smith, and Holly B. Fitzsimmons were honored on June 3, 2016, at the Richard C. Lee Courthouse in New Haven.
“Our district and our nation will be forever grateful for their commitment to fairness and justice to the thousands of litigants that have appeared before them,” said Janet C. Hall, Chief Judge of the District Court of Connecticut.
