Drug Treatment in the Community--A Case Study of System Integration Issues

The authors report results from a qualitative study of drug treatment services offered to offenders in four jurisdictions. They highlight some of the issues in providing drug treatment services to offenders, including the tendency of clinical staff across four separate jurisdictions to employ a wide range of treatment strategies, which appears to affect retention rates.
