Overview of the Position: The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey is accepting resumes and applications for the position of Judicial Law Clerk (Term). Duties include researching a variety of legal issues, drafting memorandum and opinions, reviewing orders, handling miscellaneous day-to-day clerical assignments, and other duties, as assigned.

Salary: $85,236 - $157,934
Qualification

Candidate must have the following attributes:

Preferred Qualifications: It is preferred that applicants took bankruptcy in law school or have experience in the bankruptcy field or comparable practice areas. Familiarity with electronic case filing and management systems is preferred. Applicants must be able to quickly process and resolve complex issues.

Conditions of Employment: Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. Selected candidate subject to a background check as a condition of employment.

The expected start date is September/October 2024.
