Plaintiff California Coalition for Women Prisoners (CCWP) is seeking remedy for Bureau of Prisons’ failures that are in violation of the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment and Fifth Amendment protections of substantive due process, as well as federal statutory law, including the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (“TVPA”).
