The Asset Management Planning (AMP) Process Handbook communicates the Judiciary’s AMP process and related activities.
The AMP process is a comprehensive planning approach to incorporating rigorous facility assessments, and consistently applying standards and guidelines to evaluate space needs in U.S. federal courthouses. The objective is to also help the Judiciary achieve the best value per dollar for courthouse projects in both the short- and long-term.
The AMP Process Handbook provides a high-level overview of the process from developing a long-range facility plan through courthouse renovation or new construction. The handbook is intended for use by internal and external partners who are involved in various stages of the AMP process, and as an educational tool for Judiciary stakeholders who want an understanding of the process.
