This article is intended to aid probation officers in assessing situations related to the imposition, tolling, and revocation of supervised release. In it, the author discusses relevant case law, statutory changes, and recent developments, updating the information on these topics provided in two earlier articles that were published in Federal Probation in 1997 and 2005.
