Female offenders face many strategies unique to their criminal justice system involvement. These needs may translate into greater need for dependable transportation to meet day-to-day responsibilities as well as to complete supervision successfully. The author describes the strategies women use, as well as changes to supervision practices and policies that increase access to dependable transportation.
