Abstract:
Inmates reentering the community are at risk for many barriers, including securing employment and housing, obtaining treatment, and resolving family difficulties. The authors examine whether the re-entry programs being proposed and implemented address these barriers adequately, and outline strategies for heightening the likelihood that programs will "work."
