Abstract:
Correctional agencies face increasing internal and external pressure to implement evidence-based practices to reduce recidivism. However, few programs are actively and systematically monitoring staff and organizational fidelity to these models. This article reviews the benefits of fidelity evaluation within organizations and provides examples of strategies and decision points to consider when developing a fidelity evaluation process within correctional organizations.
