The Predictive Validity of the LSI-R on a Sample of Offenders Drawn From the Records of the Iowa Department of Corrections Data Measurement System

Many correctional programs have begun using risk and needs assessment tools to help develop case management strategies. The current study demonstrates the relevance of testing the predictive validity of the Level of Service Inventory-Revised as well as the benefits of forming that instrument on a sample of probationers and parolees from Iowa.
