Overview of the Position The position requires excellent problem-solving skills working with cutting edge technologies. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for operational support, modification, maintenance and monitoring of networks and systems that are a part of the wide area network, public/private cloud, government cloud, wireless, and local area networks that are managed by the Enterprise Operations Center (EOC). Must have strong experience with networking configuration within Internet Data Center (IDC), Public/Private and Government Cloud (i.e., GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle), and WAN/LAN environments. The incumbent will be responsible for network engineering support services in the area of the Data Communications Network (DCN) Engineering Team, including but not limited to installing and configuring network equipment, monitoring network infrastructure health, patch management, and supporting connectivity to other networks on premises and in the cloud.
