The pro se staff attorney provides legal support to each of the district judges in pro se prisoner civil rights and habeas corpus cases. The incumbent independently reviews case records and filings, conducts legal research, drafts proposed orders and memoranda, and makes recommendations based on the law and the facts of the case. |
