| Overview of the Position: | The U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services, Eastern District of Arkansas, is seeking applicants for a male candidate interested in an internship. This position will provide a meaningful employment experience through a comprehensive view of the Federal probation system. Intern(s) will provide operational support for the probation office and learn some of the duties and responsibilities of a pretrial/probation officer. This must be filled by a male gender applicant. One of the duties of the job will be observing collection of urine specimens from male persons under supervision. The privacy rights of persons under supervision necessitate that a court employee of the same gender be able to view and assist, if required. |
