| Overview of the Position: | The Financial Specialist II performs and coordinates administrative, technical, and professional work related to financial, accounting, and budgetary activities of the court, including ensuring compliance with the appropriate guidelines, policies, and approved internal controls. The Financial Specialist II prepares, updates, and analyzes a variety of accounting records, financial statements, and reports; oversees, and assists with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, assists with budget preparation, conducts internal reviews, including both internal audits and cyclical audits, develops recommendations on procedures for improvements, and assists with policy development on financial matters. This position reports to the Administrative Manager. |
