| Overview of the Position: | The Procurement Specialist performs a wide variety of administrative duties, is required to acquire and maintain knowledge of current policies and requirements provided by the Guide to Judiciary Policy, GSA rules and regulations, local office policies, and applicable state and federal statutes. General responsibilities include serving as contracting officer to procure case-related expert services, supplies, furniture and equipment through competitive bidding and existing contracts. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison to vendors, research discrepancies, process POs and invoices as authorized, maintain purchasing records and reports and provide staff training. |
