Case Summary: 13-CV-02281
Plaintiff AngleFix Tech, LLC brought this action against Defendant Smith & Nephew, Inc. for patent infringement relating to Defendant’s “Peri-Loc VLP” surgical product. The patent relates to a type of surgical bone plate system, comprised of an orthopedic bone plate and screws, that allows the screws to be locked to the plate at variable angles that the surgeon can select during surgery. This reduces the risk that the plate will loosen over time.
