Health Problems: Relationships to Demographics, Problem Severity, and Services for Substance Users in Treatment with a Legal Status

Self-reported health problems among substance users who had a legal status upon treatment entry were examined from 96 treatment agencies in 11 U.S. cities. This article examines the results, including number and kind of health problems reported and differences in responses from males and females.
