Abstract:
The author looks at the federal pretrial risk assessment instrument from the standpoint of immigration status and concludes that problems arising from illegal immigrants must be addressed through means other than the risk assessment tool, as these individuals do not present any significant obstacles in effectively determining pretrial risk.
